I have the rare honour today of laying the foundation stone for the library and community resource centre at Nyegina Secondary School near Musoma.
In June 2012 I joined members of Tanzania Development Support to raise money for this library through climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro. More than $US 50,000 has been raised in addition to a pledge by HakiElimu, an education advocacy NGO, to supply books for the library.
